Team Undici ha fatto il suo ingresso nel Campionato del Mondo Supermoto 2026 con una prestazione che ha immediatamente dimostrato il potenziale del progetto. Marc Reiner Schmidt ha dominato la domenica vincendo Fast Race e SuperFinal, mentre Leonardo Lapadula ha chiuso secondo assoluto in S2, regalando al team un debutto stagionale di grande impatto e visibilità internazionale.

Marc Reiner Schmidt dominated Sunday by winning both the Fast Race and the SuperFinal, while Leonardo Lapadula finished second overall in S2 — giving the team a debut of real international impact and visibility. 

Il GP di Albaida, primo round stagionale del FIM S1GP Supermoto World Championship, si è disputato il 29 marzo 2026 ad Albaida, Spagna. La classifica finale S1GP ha visto Julen Avila Cortes (KTM) primo con 75 punti, Marc Reiner Schmidt secondo con 72 e Steve Bonnal terzo con 61. Un risultato che, viste le circostanze del sabato, racconta solo metà della storia di Schmidt. 

The GP of Comunitat Valenciana, the first round of the FIM S1GP Supermoto World Championship, took place on March 29, 2026 in Albaida, Spain. The final S1GP standings saw Julen Avila Cortes (KTM) take first with 75 points, Marc Reiner Schmidt second with 72, and Steve Bonnal third with 61 — a result that, given Saturday's events, tells only half of Schmidt's story. 

Schmidt ha aperto il weekend con il miglior tempo in Q1 (59.041) e si è qualificato terzo in Superpole. In Race 1 ha preso la testa della corsa fin dal secondo settore del primo giro, prima che un problema tecnico lo costringesse ai box. Il rientro in pista fino alla quinta posizione è stato notevole. La domenica è stata però la sua: vittoria in Fast Race, vittoria in SuperFinal. Dominante, solido, velocissimo. 

Schmidt opened the weekend with the fastest time in Q1 (59.041) and qualified third in Superpole. In Race 1 he led from the second sector of the opening lap before a technical issue forced a pit stop. His comeback to fifth was remarkable in itself. Sunday, however, was all his: victory in the Fast Race, victory in the SuperFinal. Dominant, consistent, and blindingly fast. 

Leonardo Lapadula, al debutto stagionale in S2 con Team Undici, ha confermato la crescita evidenziata nel pre-campionato chiudendo il GP di Albaida al secondo posto assoluto con 40 punti, alle spalle di Kovalov (45) e davanti a Max Serra (38). Un risultato che parla da solo.

Il momento che resterà nel racconto di questo GP è la reazione di Schmidt. Un problema tecnico avrebbe potuto compromettere il weekend intero. Invece, il pilota di Team Undici è rientrato in pista, ha recuperato posizioni, e la domenica ha vinto entrambe le manche con autorità. Un carattere da campione, una risposta sportiva che nessun comunicato stampa poteva scrivere meglio. 

The moment that will define this GP is Schmidt's reaction. A technical issue could have broken the entire weekend. Instead, the Team Undici rider returned to the track, clawed back positions, and then won both Sunday races with authority. A champion's character — a sporting statement no press release could have written better.
